DIMAPUR — Mecievi Khieya, a 24-year-old footballer from Nagaland who recently joined Thai League 3 side Thonburi United FC, on Sunday assisted his club in securing a 3-1 victory against Kanchanaburi City at the Khao Noi Stadium in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.

According to an update, Mecievi played the entire first half, assisting Thonburi in scoring two early goals before being substituted in the second half.

With this important victory, Thonburi United is currently in third position in the league, fighting for promotion to Thai League 2.
